MOST IMPORTANT U.S. Supreme Court Case in Decades, MAYBE FOREVER!

You probably had no idea that today, September 9, 2009, one of the most important cases in U.S. Supreme Court history was being 'argued'. In fact, there is probably less than a 1 in 10 chance you would have heard about it in our corporation-controlled media; ESPECIALLY not on FOX.

First, ask yourself: "Did you know that multi-national corporations have the same rights (and more) as you have?" For example 'free' speech and the other freedoms granted under our U.S. Constitution. Did you know that? (The answer is: "Yes". But only recently. Our founding fathers knew the dangers of unrestricted corporate 'life' and power. In fact, many of our states' early laws prohibited them from 'living' longer than 20 years because they knew the dangers ... that we simply ignore now.)

According to PBS's Bill Moyers: The Supreme Court is returning early from its summer recess to consider a potential watermark case that could overturn a century of campaign finance restrictions and clear the way for unregulated spending by corporations on political campaigns.

What does this mean to you?

Well, if you think that corporate BRIBERY of our politicians is bad now, just wait until (GW Bush's) U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice (and former corporate 'rights' attorney) John Roberts removes ALL restrictions from corporate spending in political campaigns.

How will you, the citizen, be able to ... in ANY way ... offset the power of corporations that can 'donate' millions or hundreds of millions of dollars to local and national campaigns? You won't. That will be "IT" ... the end ... of our country's experiment as a 'Representative Democracy'.

It will mean that corporations, who have ONLY ONE objective .... making more and more MONEY, will have finally and completely have taken over our government. (And, say 'Goodbye' to your ability to influence any-thing.)

To make matters worse ... and ESPECIALLY for my Conservative Friends ... this case was EXPANDED in scope and reach by CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS! Talk about "Activist" judges!! Somehow, though, I'd bet that you will hear NOT ONE word about such activism by Rush, Mitch McConnell, Boehner and the like ...

This is truly a scary case for democracy in America ... and you've heard NOTHING about it on virtually any of our electronic, CORPORATE-controlled, media.

The origins of this case go back to a 1971 letter written by then soon-to-be-nominated U.S. Supreme Court Justice Lewis Powell to the U.S. Chamber of commerce:

Powell's letter was hidden from the Senate during confirmations and he was appointed. Later, he helped in the granting of 'Personhood' to corporations and in the consequent granting of "Free Speech Rights" to corporations .... and later in the equating of bribery (corporate "Campaign Donations") with "Free Speech".
