Have you ever heard of that phrase? Do you think that the failures of "Brownie" and George Bush were an accident of simple stupidity? Well, think again.
For those of you who haven't heard the phrase "Starve the Beast" ... and I hadn't either ... until I heard Thom Hartmann ( http://www.thomhartmann.com/ ) discuss the history of how and why "Common Wisdom" holds that governments "CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT!" ... this phrase has its origins in "Conservative" thinkers ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starve_the_beast . (Personally, I consider them domestic terrorists..)
